If you are like me, you need a good cup of coffee each morning to start the day off right. I tend to be picky about my coffee but also value simplicity and ease. I figured I’d show you my simple version of a pour over. This method is super easy and has worked well for me.

Hi everyone! How are you? We’ve been enjoying the unseasonably warm weather here in the Midwest, which I hear is about to end as a snow storm will be brewing later tonight. Regardless, the sunshine now has gotten me into full on spring cleaning mode. I randomly decided to pick up my camera and vlog so here it is! Hope you enjoy.
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you are all well and you are looking forward to the weekend. I know I am!
Want to take a peek at what is in my purse? I thought it would be fun to share so check out this video to see what I’m currently carting around. And feel free to share with me what you’re must have purse items are!
I’ll admit, I have a major case of spring fever…BUT I can still see the beauty in a crisp winter morning snuggled up with a warm cup of coffee. On these mornings I retreat to my little nook of the house where I like to spend a few quiet moments before the hustle and bustle of the day takes over.
Are you like me and enjoy a great cup of coffee first thing in the morning? If so I’d love for you to try Door County Coffee which is my personal favorite. Click hereto enter my coffee giveaway!
Hope this day finds your heart warm with blessings! Coffee cheers!
Hey everyone! A friend on instagram requested I do an outfit for $50 or less. This was right up my ally because I am all about affordable fashion. The look is not only easy on the pocket book but also extremely comfortable. The top is so soft and flowy I sort of felt like I was wearing pajamas…can’t beat that!

As long as I can remember I have been avidly journaling. I have filled notebooks and diaries to the brim with my thoughts and feelings. This has been a very positive form of self care for me through varies life events. I encourage you to start journaling too! It doesn’t take a skilled writer to begin. I thought I would offer you a little prompt today, because sometimes that is all we need to get the ball rolling.
So grab a pen, notebook, and snack (because lets face it, everything is better with a snack) and lets get your journal started!
Write about how you are currently feeling and how you want to feel today.
I will share what I wrote to break the ice…
I am currently feeling a bit of sadness in my heart for the state of our world. I also think that the dark skies and chance of more snow have given me a bit of a gloomy spirit. But I’d like to feel hopeful today despite all of that. I am thankful for my boys, for my home, and for this delicious Love Crunch granola I am enjoying. So hopeful is the word I will focus on today. Not every day is perfectly happy…but every day can be filled with hope.

We had SUCH a fun family day yesterday I thought I would share bits and pieces of it with you. We decided that because it had been below zero ALL week we needed a break from the cold! We escaped by going to our local Holiday Inn which offers the public day passes to there pool and game area. It was the perfect winter blues remedy. To watch our vlog of the day please click here!
What are your favorite things to do when it is just too cold outside?
Hey everyone! I hope you are all welcoming in the New Year with peace and love. I thought I’d share a casual, comfortable, AND affordable outfit as my first OOTD of 2017. My favorite part of this simple outfit are the over-the-knee boots that I snagged on sale from Target. Super simple and very cost effective. Enjoy!
